Set Up Instructions for the CVT Multi-fit Holster Line

M-1 Low & Loud

  1. Holster your clear and safe handgun and determine your handgun ride height in relation to the holster. Sliding the internal retention device down will allow for deeper insertion of the handgun in the holster and sliding the internal retention device up will have the opposite effect. The trigger guard of a properly M-1 holstered handgun should rest on top of the internal retention device. Remember to always re-tighten adjustment screws after making adjustments.

  2. Gauge the clearance between your handgun and the holster hardware. Some handguns may require removal of one of the bottom belt loop mounting screws to prevent rubbing between the metal on your firearm and the metal holster hardware.

  3. Set the friction retention using the cover mounting screws and rubber spacers. Tightening the cover mounting screws increases the friction retention while loosening the cover mounting screws decreases the friction retention and allows for proper holstering of handguns with wider widths.

  4. Adjust the belt loop screws if necessary to accommodate your belt width.

  5. If necessary, adjust the ride-height of your holster using the belt loop attachment screws.

***We recommend using a medium strength thread locker if/after you make adjustments to your holster setting hardware.
